Meet the Team
Great journeys are shaped by more than itineraries.
They are shaped by the people behind them—the ones designing the experience, guiding the pace, managing the details, and making sure the trip feels personal, capable, and well run from start to finish.
What to expect
At Great Earth Expeditions, our team brings together regional knowledge, operational care, outdoor experience, and a strong sense of what makes a trip actually work.
That matters because the quality of a journey does not just come from where you go. It comes from how the day is hosted, how the decisions are made, how the trip flows, and how much confidence guests can place in the people leading it.
Rob Corey
Rob brings a strong client experience mindset to Great Earth Expeditions, shaped by years of running service-oriented businesses where relationships, consistency, and trust matter.
He has lived in Nova Scotia for more than 30 years and understands that a strong trip is not just about putting good components on a page. It is about how the experience feels to the guest from beginning to end.
That shows up in the way journeys are hosted, how details are handled, and how much care goes into creating trips that feel smooth, welcoming, and worth the investment.

Pam Corey
Pam brings a complementary strength to the business: thoughtful planning, operational care, and a practical instinct for how to make complex things feel easy.
Her background in serving commercial clients through years in the landscape business has reinforced the importance of reliability, presentation, and getting details right. That same discipline now helps shape the guest experience at Great Earth Expeditions.
For travellers, that translates into a journey that feels calm, cared for, and exceptionally well managed.

Ryan Barry
Ryan is the founder of Great Earth Expeditions and remains closely connected to the company as a consultant through the ownership transition period.
His background in tourism, guiding, and regional outdoor experience gives the company a deep foundation. He holds a Tourism and Hospitality Management degree, has taught outdoor guiding and interpretation to tourism students at NSCC Akerley, and authored 25 Outdoor Adventures in Halifax, a local bestseller.
Ryan’s influence remains part of what gives Great Earth Expeditions its strong grounding in the region, its outdoor credibility, and its commitment to experiences that go beyond the obvious.

What This Means for Guests
For guests, the team behind the trip should inspire confidence.
You want to know that the people designing and delivering the experience understand the region, care about quality, and know how to make the journey feel seamless rather than stitched together.
That is what this team is built to do.
